Bill Martyn visited/operated from 100 airfields between 1936 and 1945, in 16 different countries. Some were no more than a strip of grass. Some of the airfields are now farmers fields, housing estates, industrial areas and International airports. Finding details/pictures (from the time) of some proved very difficult and even impossible.
